Hoshigami Park
Hoshigami Park has a car park, a pavilion, and a walking trail. In spring, visitors can enjoy the rows of cherry trees that have been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Gifu Prefecture. Visitors can enjoy the changing scenery of the rich natural environment in all the other seasons too.
There is a huge granite rock in the wooded area known as the “Hoshigamiwa”. Legend has it that if you look up at the sky through the rock, you can see stars even in the daytime.
Hoshigamiwa is famous throughout Japan as a power spot.

Magomejuku
Magomejuku, one of the five highways of the Edo period (1603-1867), is a stone-paved post town on the Nakasendo Road. The elegant Edo townscape makes it an extremely popular tourist spot.
The west-side topography of Magomejuku is also famous for its “masugata,” a street made by bending the road to make it more difficult for enemies to attack.
The birthplace of Toson Shimazaki, a famous Japanese writer active in the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras, is located in the middle of the town and now exists as the Toson Memorial Museum, which is a popular attraction.
There is also a water mill, an Amida Hall, and Edo period street lights called “Joyacho”.

Sutechikyo
Selected as one of the “100 Best Forests in Japan for Forest Bathing”, “50 Best Waters in Gifu Prefecture”, and “33 Best Autumn Foliage in Hida and Mino”. The water of the Tsukechi River is so clear that it is also known as the “Blue River”.
Fudodaki Falls is one of the most popular and spectacular spots for photography in the Tsutechi-gorge. The emerald green waterfall basin is a popular photogenic spot.
*In addition to Fudodaki Falls, there are also famous waterfalls such as Kannon Falls and Takataru Falls.
Untouched virgin forests remain in the area around Tsukechikyo, and visitors can enjoy the changing seasons. At Fudo Park, visitors can take a stroll along the walkway while viewing the waterfalls.

Naegi Castle Ruins
Naegi Castle is a sightseeing spot recognized as a national historic site. It has also been selected as one of the 100 best castles in Japan.
Naegi Castle is a rare castle where natural rock granite has been used just as it is to make the stone walls.
The reproduced scaffolding, called “kakezukuri”, is also used at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto.
The view is so good that it has been described by some as the “castle in the sky” or “The Machu Picchu of Gifu”.
From the top of the mountain, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Nakatsugawa City, Mt. Ena, and the Kiso River, providing a superb photo opportunity. Wi-Fi is also available at the tenshukaku observatory.

Ena Silver Forest
“Gin no Mori” (Silver Forest) is a restaurant and food shopping spot located at the foot of Mt. Ena.
Visitors can enjoy local gourmet foods and shopping while feeling the nature of the season.
If you purchase take-out food, you can eat in the free space in the park.
“Gin no Mori” also has a picnic area and a walking trail where you can enjoy forest bathing.
If you are lucky, you may be able to see rare animals such as Japanese serows.

Enakyo Wonderland
A scenic amusement park with a view of Ena Gorge that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. There are more than 30 kinds of playground attractions for children and families providing a full day of fun.
You may be able to see seasonal plants and animals too!
A swimming pool is also open in summer.

Yumori Park
The “Yumori Waterfall Tour,” a tour of five waterfalls, is very popular and “Ryujin Falls,” selected as one of the 50 best spring waters in Gifu Prefecture is particularly famous.
With a drop of 12 meters, it is a powerful waterfall and also a popular power spot.
Near Tatsunokami Falls is “Tatsunokami Shrine,” which is said to bring good luck in competitions and contests.
In addition to the waterfall, the area is also a popular spot for viewing the autumn leaves around mid-November.

Hakusekikan (Stone Museum)
A theme park where you can see, touch, and have hands on fun with stones.At this Stone Museum, the first in Japan, “gemstone hunting” is popular.Visitors can have a mystery-solving adventure in the stone pyramid and have mysterious encounters with stones that can only be found here.

Ena Gorge Cruise Ship
Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute cruise on a sightseeing boat to take in the beauty of the valley.
The cruise is very popular during the cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons.

Fukuiku Farm
“Fukuiku Farm” grows agricultural products nurtured in the fresh air of Gifu Ena Highland. Strawberry picking is popular from late December to the end of May, and bracken picking is popular in spring!
